About Keresa
Keresa Richardson is an entrepreneur and conservative community leader. As CEO of the Lawton Group, Keresa, alongside her husband J.R., embarked on an entrepreneurial journey and opened their first business 40 years ago from the ground up, starting with zero customers and zero employees.
Their dedication to customer service and hard work has transformed their ventures into a thriving enterprise of Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Refrigeration, and Pest Control companies serving businesses and consumers in DFW, Austin, and San Antonio.
Keresa has a passion for women in business and the trades. Her role as a small business owner has given her firsthand insight into the daily challenges required to operate a successful enterprise, making her a strong advocate for the business community.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Keresa is deeply engaged in her community and her church. She and J.R. consistently host charity and community events, and their home is a sanctuary for missionaries on furlough in the United States.
They are proud parents to three accomplished grown children. Their home is further enriched by the presence of their dachshund, Demi, who believes she is the leader of the pack.
Keresa is a cancer survivor, having beaten cancer into submission. Her personal battle has fueled her commitment to supporting cancer patients in their journey to wellness, motivating her to work toward a future where cancer is eradicated from our state and country.
Keresa Richardson’s story is one of resilience, compassion, and dedication. As she continues her public service, she brings real world experience, a deep understanding of community needs, and an unwavering commitment to creating a better future for Texas.
